Fleur de Lis
Features
Combining ancient Greece and the 1980s seems, well, unfortunate. But this gown is anything but. With delicate lace inserts, drop sleeves and dramatic ruching, this dress is not for the shy, retiring bride.
Fit, Feel, Color, and Fabric
The body of the dress is made of form-fitting stretch lace. The bodice features translucent Venetian lace inserts for a flash of skin at the neck, and light boning for bust support. Spaghetti straps support the bodice while drop sleeves highlight the shoulders.
The bodice flows into a figure hugging skirt, with touches of silver lace at the waist. At the back, spectacular ruching accentuates your waist and gives you an hourglass look.
Stylist’s notes
Best to keep your jewellery and makeup simple with this dress. Choose a lightly teased up-do as a subtle nod to the 80s, but skip the blue eyeshadow. Sparkly silver heels – whether strappy sandals or pumps – will subtly match the silver lace detailing at the waist.
